The Show Job IDs command allows you to move your work to another server or channel, retrieve a specific job for further use, or refresh an old job to generate new variations, upscale, or use newer parameters and features.

What is a Job ID?

A Job ID is a unique identifier generated by Midjourney for each job you create. You can find your Job ID in several ways:

  • On the Midjourney website:

    1. Go to https://www.midjourney.com/showcase/.
    2. Hover your mouse over the image you want to find the Job ID for.
    3. Click the  button and select Copy > Job ID.

  • In the Midjourney app:

    1. Go to https://www.midjourney.com/app/.
    2. Click View My Job to see your jobs.
    3. Find the job you want to find the Job ID for.

    4. The Job ID will be part of the file name for the job, as shown below.

Using the Show Job ID Command

To use the Show Job ID command, simply type the following command in any Bot Channel:

/show <Job ID>

This will display your job along with the prompt you used to generate it. You can then use the job to generate new variations, upscale it, or use newer parameters and features.
