Midjourney’s AI-powered art generation offers exciting opportunities for collaboration. Whether you’re working with a team, seeking inspiration, or simply having fun with friends, here are ways to bring others into your Midjourney creative process.

1. Working in Public Channels

  • The Community Approach: Midjourney’s newbie and other public channels are buzzing with activity. Collaborate organically by:
    • Sharing your prompts and generated images, inviting feedback and remix ideas.
    • Watching what others create and offering variations on their prompts.
    • Jumping in to help others refine their ideas.

2. Creating a Private Discord Server

  • Focused Collaboration: Establish a dedicated Discord server to brainstorm ideas, share images, and experiment together. This allows:
    • Centralized storage of your team’s creations and seeds.
    • Iterative development with input throughout the process.
    • In-depth discussions and critiques specific to your project.

3. Direct Messages with the Midjourney Bot

  • One-on-One Ideation: Message the Midjourney Bot directly for private collaboration sessions. Best for:
    • Bouncing ideas off another person without a larger group.
    • Getting tailored feedback on specific works in progress.
    • Sharing inspiration without posting in public channels.

If you want to collaborate with friends in a separate chat, you can do so.This method is called “Invite the bot to your server.” The principle is to invite the Midjourney Bot to our chat room.
